University Business Linkage Cell has conducted a meeting with one of the SME Companies in Sri Lanka, Akleena Marketing Pvt. Ltd. on 11th May 2021 via Zoom Platform to commercialize a product titled “Vegan Sausage incorporated with Kollu (Horse gram) and Kohila” developed by Mr. M.C.N. Jayasooriya and his research team of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Director UBLC Prof. D.A.I. Dayarathne, research team member and Managing Director, Akleena Marketing Pvt. Ltd Mr. R.G.G. Dinesh were the key participants of the event. Since the discussion at that meeting was successful the future work to commence the commercialization will be processed on.
