University Business Linkage Cell has conducted a meeting with SANFOMA Pvt. Ltd, an early-stage Start-Up company established by graduates of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, to explore the possible opportunities in transferring the invention “Herbal Soup Mix” invented by the Faculty of Applied Sciences. The meeting was held on 21^st June 2022 via Zoom platform. Director/UBLC, Prof. Indunil Dayaratne, Project Coordinator/RIC 18, Dr. Namal Perera, Deputy Project Coordinator/RIC 18, Dr. Thilini Kananke, Team Member/RIC 18, Prof. Kapila Rathnayake, Director/SANFOMA Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Darshana Anuradha and other officials from the company, and UBLC staff members were present at the meeting.

Delegates from the company expressed their willingness to commercialize the Soup Mix and future prospects of the collaborations were discussed during the meeting.
