Student Circle of the Department of Economics and Statistics is organizing different kinds of events with the collaboration of the stakeholders in the industry and different activities which are useful for the outside community, university staff members, and university students.

 

1. Workshop on "LIVING A LIFE OF SERVICE"

This workshop will help you learn how to make your life a success and live a life of service to others. This explains how to make a living a service of life as an undergraduate student while working a career in the future.

The workshop on New horizons for higher education will help you, to know solutions to your problems in higher education, to get information what don't you know about higher education, and to help those who have no ideas about higher education.

3. Launching the Student E-magazine (Volume: 02 Issue 01)

We are Launching the student e-magazine (Volume: 02 Issue 01) on 28th June 2022 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm at the Staff Development centre.

The discussion series on 'Our success stories - A chat with Alumni member' will be a great opportunity for the undergraduates who willing to climb their ladder of success as well as this discussion will help to grab the ideas and the experiences from alumni members how they achieve their targets in the industry and also as an undergraduate. This is jointly organized by the Alumni Association and the Student Circle of the Department of Economics and Statistics.

‘Silver Portal’ is an event organized by the Student Circle of the Department of Economics and Statistics as a knowledge-sharing session with each other. Undergraduates in the department will be resource persons in each Episode of the Silver Portal and it is organizing as a monthly event. The utmost objective is enhancing the bond among the undergraduates of the department. The event focuses on uplifting the Economics, Statistics, and ICT subject, latest technological awareness among the undergraduates, developing soft skills, and strengthening the relationship between one another.

The discussion series on ‘Let's Meet a Foreign Expert’ is an event organized by the Student Circle of the Department of Economics and Statistics to grab international knowledge and experience. The foreign expert will be a resource person in each episode of this series and it will be organized as a monthly event. In order to reach the globe, we must be having good knowledge of what’s happening around the world with the right international expertise and experience. This is a great opportunity for undergraduates to elevate their knowledge and get international experience.
