History of the Department Geography and Environmental Management

The Department of Geography & Environmental Management was established in 2015 as the fifth academic department in the Faculty of Social Sciences & Languages at Sabaragamuwa University. SAB School Its mission engages a broad range of subfields: climate, land use, environmental change, GIS & remote sensing, globalization, population geography, etc. The department offers an Honrs degree (BA Hons in Geography) and a General degree in Geography; the curricula include both theoretical and practical/analytical components.
