Faculty Based Career Vision Development programme Series, Named "Vision for the New Beginning"
As a concept of the Director of CGU, CGU started a faculty based series of programme titled "Vision for the New Beginning". The major scope of this programme series is strengthen 1st year undergraduates for a sound career oriented university life from their very first beginning. Under this series CGU also expect to facilitate undergraduates to shift their careers from conventional to modern and dynamic careers.
Under the above programme, as the first programme of 2021 and as the third programme of the entire programme series, CGU conducted a programme for the Faculty of Geomatics on 26.01.2021 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon successfully as a webinar.
The programme was conducted by Mr. Deepal Wijayasekara, Career Counselor of SUSL.

"Vision for the New Beginning"- Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
CGU conducted the fourth programme of "Vision for the New Beginning" series for the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences on 30.04.2021 from 5PM to 7PM successfully.
The webinar was conducted by Mr. Deepal Wijayasekara, Career Counselor of SUSL.

A Path to Become a Happy Managerial Scientist
The major scope of this programme was creating the background and facilitating undergraduates towards of being a productive scientist from their early university education. The resource person of this webinar was Prof. Sandun Perera, the Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and operations, Department of Marketing, College of Business, University of Nevada, Reno and who was recognized as the most credentialed in Sri Lanka in 2018. This was conducted for all interested undergraduates and it was held successfully on 26.02.2021 from 10AM to 12Noon as a webinar.

Scientific Writing Skills Development Programme
Scientific writing considered as a highly essential skill which is needed to be developed the all undergraduates irrespectively the subject streams. In order to accomplished this vision CGU launch a scientific writing skills development programme for all interested undergraduates on 04.05.2021 from 1PM to 3PM as a webinar. The programme was conducted by Prof. Meththika Vithanage who is the current Director of Echosphere Resilience Research Centre of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.  

"Envision Beyond Conventional Career"- Career Vision Development Programme
This is an enriching and strengthening career development programme towards a more conventional career direction of the undergraduates of SUSL. This was conducted successfully by Ms. Sangeetha Rathnayaka, Hokkaido University of Japan and the founder of YŪGEN, Japan on 18.06.2021 from 10AM to 12Noon for all interested undergraduates as a webinar.
