The Quality Assurance Cell of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages has successfully conducted a workshop titled "Human Rights and Labour Law" on 24th March 2025 at 1.00 PM in the Faculty Board Room, FSSL.
Dr. HUS Pradeep, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages (FSSL), Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, served as the resource person.
The faculty has designed this workshop to provide non-academic staff with a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities under human rights and labour laws, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
Additionally, the workshop educated participants on workplace ethics, legal compliance, and grievance-handling procedures, enabling them to address workplace issues effectively and professionally.
