The Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is one such program that embodies SUSL's broader mission to democratize education and build digital competencies across various sectors.

With the recent establishment of the Faculty of Computing, SUSL further strengthens its institutional capacity and commitment to advancing digital education. This faculty plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering IT-focused curricula, ensuring the academic integrity, industry relevance, and pedagogical rigor of programs like the CIT.

The CIT program is academically supported by computing experts from both the Faculty of Computing and the Centre for Computer Studies, ensuring alignment with national ICT standards and global best practices.

Duration Six (06) months
Lectures & practicals on weekends (Saturdays), hybrid mode.
Medium of Instruction English
Additional explanations in Sinhala during lectures & practicals. Examinations in English.
Modes of Conducting Lectures
Hybrid: in-person virtual mode Students informed of schedule in advance.
Lecture recordings will not be provided.
Examinations will take place in person at the university premises.
