Workshop on “Procurement Procedures” for Administrative Staff of SUSL
A two-day workshop on Procurement Procedures for the administrative personnel of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL) was conducted by CQA on 27th and 28th May 2025 at the Staff Development Centre, SUSL and 86 members were participated in it. CQA successfully achieved the intended objectives of the workshop, largely due to the invaluable contribution of Mr. Anura Lokugamage, Learning and Development Consultant and former Senior Consultant at SLIDA, who served as the resource person.
This initiative aimed to enhance the knowledge and competencies of administrative staff in line with current procurement guidelines and best practices. This training expected to contribute significantly to improving the efficiency, compliance, and transparency of procurement-related activities within the university.



Awareness Session on “Mentoring Newly Recruited Academics of SUSL”
Centre for Quality Assurance of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL) is organizing an awareness session on “Mentoring Newly Recruited Academics of SUSL” with the expertise knowledge of the resource person, Prof. W.M.J. Welgama, Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages and the Chairman of the committee to develop, policies and relevant documents on Mentoring Newly Recruited Academics of SUSL.
The target audience will include members of the University Academic Mentoring Steering Committee and the Faculty Academic Mentoring Steering Committees of SUSL.
The primary objective of this programme is to take initial steps in mentoring newly recruited academics in alignment with the policy document, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Terms of Reference (TOR) on mentoring.
