Introduction
The Centre for Open and Distance Learning was established under the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2000. Its functions are administered by a "Management Committee" and the Unit is run by a Director who is an internal academic staff member of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka appointed by the Vice Chancellor.
