- Successful completion of the Diploma in English conducted by the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), or
- Successful completion of an equivalent Diploma in English (30 Credits, NVQ Level 5 / SLQF Level 3) from a recognized institution, subject to the approval of the Board of Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages.
