Message of the Dean

Welcome to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the sixth Faculty of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka established in 2015. The Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka offers its graduate qualifications through the Faculty of Graduate Studies which plays a leading role by coordinating the graduate study programs conducted by five Faculties namely Agricultural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Geomatics, Management Studies and Social Sciences and Languages. The Faculty of Graduate Studies expects to provide graduate qualifications within an inclusive environment that fosters education and research for the development of world-class academics and professional people. The Faculty of Graduate Studies presently offers several taught programs including Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA in Finance, MBA in Marketing, MBA in Tourism, MSc Ayurvedic Hospital Management and MSc Surveying Sciences. Moreover, it offers Research Higher Degrees leading to Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) as well. Further, the Faculty of Graduate Studies plans to offer Master of Information Technology, Master of Business Economics and MSc in Business Economics in near future. All these programs are aligned with Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF) and the subject benchmarks of University Grant Commission in Sri Lanka.
