WEBINAR ON “INTRODUCTION TO CAREER MENTORING”
The webinar to enhance the positive attitudes of undergraduates was conducted on 2nd July
2021 from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. via Zoom for the second year, third year, and fourth-year
undergraduates of the Department of Accountancy and Finance, Faculty of Management
Studies of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The session's primary purpose was to
develop positive attitudes among the students, which is essential in managing their carrier
lives. Ms. Gayani De Alwis, Global WiLAT Chairperson, Immediate Past Chairperson CILT Sri
Lanka, Founding Chairperson & Advisor of WiLAT Sri Lanka, and Board Member of WCIC,
shared valuable insights in developing positive thoughts. As a result of the successful
completion of the session, the undergraduates were expected to understand the need to
develop positive attitudes, creativity, and personality to maintain a proper career life.
Further, the students will be able to keep the stress at a low level in thriving in their careers
with the assistance of this session.
