Webinar on “Secrets of a winning CV and 10-point Game
plan for the Interview”
The webinar to enhance undergraduates' knowledge on the preparation of curriculum vitae was
conducted on 12th June 2021 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon via zoom platform for the second-year
undergraduates of the Department of Accountancy and Finance, Faculty of Management Studies of
Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The session's primary purpose was to enhance the students’
knowledge of the important facts to consider when preparing an effective curriculum vitae and to face
an interview. Mr. Thilan Perera, the Head of the Human Resources of Midas Safety Company Ltd,
facilitated the session. The resource person shared valuable insights regarding curriculum vitae
preparation and facing an interview for industry standards throughout the session. After successfully
completing the undergraduates were expected to prepare an outstanding curriculum vitae to meet the
job market specifications. Further, it is highly expected that undergraduates face their future job
interviews successfully by adding these valuable insights into consideration.
