As one of the first 4-year graduates of the Faculty of Management

Studies (FMS) in 2005, I would like to congratulate the Sabaragamuwa
University of Sri Lanka on the Silver Jubilee celebration for the Faculty
of Management Studies. I would like to extend my regards and best
wishes to the staff and students and feel privileged to have had the

honor of completing my Bachelors at the faculty.

From my perspective, the faculty provided me with an invaluable set of
skills and strategies which has allowed me to pursue a diverse and

rewarding career in the United States of America as a Finance Controller
and Finance Consultant. The single greatest asset the faculty afforded
me was the ability to move confidently between various professional
disciplines and to work comfortably with individuals and groups from

diverse educational backgrounds.

As you mark 25 years of success, you have every reason to be proud of
the Faculty’s past and excited about its future. I am certain that FMS will

continue its vocation of preparing students to engage successfully with
the world for many years to come.
