Dr. Madurika Nanayakkara is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Commerce and Financial Management of University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Accountancy) from the University of Kelaniya in 2007 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the field of Finance from the University of Colombo in 2012, followed by her PhD in Finance from the Federation University in Australia in 2019.
She is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCA), the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACMA) and the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (ACPM) and has won a number of awards for her academic excellence. She is a renowned researcher and consultant in the field of Finance and has many scholarly publications in the fields of green finance and sustainability, financial distress and financial reporting.
Dr. Madurika Nanayakkara is an expert in research methodology and data analysis, specializing in quantitative research and data analysis, including statistical analysis and discriminant analysis. She shares her knowledge, experience and skills in these fields by conducting lectures, workshops and providing consultancies on invitation.
