Prof. Ivan Salazar's Adventure at Sabaragamuwa University

Dr. Ivan Salazar Chang, a professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, and a European representative of SPIRIT Erasmus project visited the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and conducted a day workshop on ‘personal development and inclusive education’ for the external students of the higher diploma in physical education and sports coaching.

During the visit, Prof. Salazar participated in the recreational activities in the outdoor recreational center which were organized by our faculty members: Mr. P.P. Weerakkody and Lady’s hub of Sabaragamuwa University was initiated by Ms. Waruni Rupasinghe with the guidance of Ms. T.P. Liyanage, coordinator for the SPIRIT Erasmus project of SUSL. Further, Dr. Salazar visited a rural school, in Nonperial, Sri Lanka, and distributed gifts for the students.
