Qualitative Data Analysis
Objective
Qualitative data is used extensively by social scientists in their research; and analysis and interpretation of such data can be confusing and complex. Therefore, researchers are often in need of clear instructions and guidance on how to analyze the mass of qualitative data using appropriate methods of analysis. This workshop focuses on improving the participants’ knowledge and skills of qualitative data analysis with emphasis on the use of the NVivo computer software.

Developing the Conceptual Framework of a Research
Objective
The success of a research largely depends on its conceptual framework and developing a sound conceptual framework can be a challenging task. This workshop is organized to discuss the importance and means of developing a sound conceptual framework which supports the production of reliable research output. It is expected that this workshop will provide the participants with foundational knowledge on the conceptualization of their future research.
