An Introduction to Google Earth Engine

Open to: Current undergraduates and academic staff of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka

Google Earth Engine is a cloud-based platform developed by Google that empowers researchers, scientists, and environmentalists to harness the vast resources of geospatial data and satellite imagery for applications such as land cover classification, deforestation monitoring, and climate change analysis. This platform provides access to an extensive repository of Earth observation data, enabling users to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions in addressing critical global environmental challenges.
