Generous Contribution from GLOBAL GIS (PVT) LTD and further commitments towards Faculty.

GLOBAL GIS (PVT) LTD, a surveying equipment trading and Geospatial Company established by two distinguished graduates from the Faculty of Geomatics visited the university on 20th February 2024. 
As an appreciation for the invaluable education that they have gained from the Faculty which made their career successful, they made a generous contribution by providing 70 safety jackets to the Faculty.
Further, they express their commitment to undertake the following activities every year.
1. Providing a safety jacket to every fresher joining the Faculty of Geomatics, Sabaragamuwa
University of Sri Lanka
2. Awareness workshop to the fresher’s joining the faculty by past graduates of the Faculty of
Geomatics
3. Annual scholarship to selected students
