“It takes me great pleasure to send this congratulating message
on the memorable occasion of the 25th anniversary celebration of
the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Sabaragamuwa
University of Sri Lanka (SUSL). Since it was found in 1996, FMS
has become a highly recognized hub of nurturing management
professionals for Sri Lanka and beyond. Therefore, these 25 years
of success offer a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon the
history of the FMS and the important contributions it has made to
the quality of management education. It has admirably committed
itself to triangulate teaching, research, and community
engagement. I am confident that FMS will continue to play a
significant role in advancing the management profession for Sri
Lanka and the world. I would like to wish the 25th anniversary
celebration of FMS a memorable event and a flow of
congratulations to FMS members' continued success in their
future endeavours. I express my sincere gratitude to the staff,
students, alumni, and industry partners for their valuable
contribution to uplift the academic standards of the faculty during
the last 25 years.”
