The webinar to enhance the knowledge of academic staff regarding
researchable areas in Finance was conducted on 12th April 2021 from 6.00
p.m. to 8.00 p.m. via Zoom for the academic staff of the Department of

Accountancy and Finance, Faculty of Management Studies of Sabaragamuwa
University of Sri Lanka. It was organized by the AHEAD Department Project,
Department of Accountancy & Finance, Faculty of Management Studies,

Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The session's objective was to
enhance the knowledge of the Academic staff of the department regarding the
Finance research area. The valuable insights regarding the newly emerging
aspects of Finance have been shared by Prof. Lalith P Samarakoon, Professor

of Finance, Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas. After the
successful completion, the academic staff was expected to drive through newly
emerged finance concepts when conducting upcoming researches.
