With great pleasure, I am writing this message to sincerely
congratulate the Faculty of Management Studies, the
Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, when it celebrates its 25th

Anniversary. FMS is a young and growing tree with new leaves and
deep roots, getting a solid foundation to grow further in the

decades to come. I have observed the outstanding contribution to
the national and international community and rapid faculty

development with dynamic academics, committed staff and
promising students with great enthusiasm. I had a chance to

discuss mutually beneficial collaborative activities between the
FMS and IUJ when Prof. Athula Gnanapala invited me in 2018. I am
happy to mention that Mr Dinesh Fernando, one of the young

faculty members of FMS, is currently pursuing doctoral studies at
IUJ. I hope he can bring our two universities closer. I wish the

faculty all success in their every future endeavour.
