Ms. M.P.Taniya Sankalpana a final year student won the best student presenter award at the 2nd South Asia Conference on Multidisciplinary Research 2019(SAMR’19) conference held on 08-09th November 2019.
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in collaboration with the Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences conducted a one-day workshop on " Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)” on 25th November 2019. The workshop was conducted at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
A team led by Prof. D.A.M. De Silva, including Mr. P. Sivashankar, Ms. M.S. Elapata, Ms. K.K.H.M. Rathnayake, Ms. B.M.R.L. Basnayake,M. Sandamith, I. Wickramarathna, S. Kalhara, P. Madushanka from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, participated the 5th International Conference on Dry Zone Agriculture (ICDA 2019)
W.M.T.B Weddagala presented the findings on “Investigate the Product Harm Crisis in Ceylon Cinnamon Value Chain” at International Conference on Agriculture, Food Security and Safety (AgroFood 2019) which was organized by iconference. Conference was held at Galle Face Hotel Colombo on 7 - 8 November 2019.
A group of second year undergraduates of B.Sc in Food Business Management degree program in the Department of Agribusiness Management, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has become 2nd runners up in the "ADCON 2019'' Inter University Advertising Competition organized by the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management & Finance, University of Ruhuna, on 6th February 2020.
