It has been a great privilege and pleasure to be a part of Faculty of

Management Studies (FMS), Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, as
the Chairman of Research and Publication Unit, Professor in Tourism

Management and a graduate from the same faculty. It brings me great
pleasure to extend my heartfelt gratitude and greetings on the occasion of

Silver Jubilee in September 2021. This incomparable academic and
research landmark opened the door for me to enter the ever widening
world of science and humanity through research and knowledge

dissemination. The tireless promising journey of FMS leads to cross may
unimaginable milestones in producing global citizens and building the

nation through research and knowledge dissemination within the last
quarter of the century. The thriving past journey through struggles and
challenges strengthen confident of FMS to move ahead to become

globally benchmarked institution to within next decade.
I wish FMS to thrive through a successful future to build the

nation.
