I take immense pleasure in sharing my thoughts about the Silver

Jubilee of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS),
Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL). The journey of the

FMS is outstanding in management education in Sri Lankan higher
education system. FMS has always been enterprising and

progressive: it has incorporated emerging needs of the nation
concerning management education into the curricula and
introduced new course units and degree programmes along the

journey to catering to those needs. Through co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities, FMS extended its role to the physical

and mental wellbeing of undergraduates, national policy &
programme development, community development &

empowerment. I wish FMS academics, undergraduates, and alumni
all the success in continuing its service to the nation and the

academia.
