I have the opportunities to visit the Faculty of Management
Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, in
particular the Department of Tourism Management, on
some occasions as Keynote or Guest Speakers of
Conferences and Visiting Professors. I have seen the
faculty grew, notably within its human capital without
which many academic credentials including the launcing
of scientific newsletter and the South Asia Journal of
Tourism and Hospitality would not be gained. It shows the
character of its academic and supporting staff, persevere
in what is now becoming a highly competitive academic
environment.
