Author Instructions

Abstracts and full papers are invited under five major thematic tracks:

  1. Digital Innovation and Intelligent Technologies for Sustainable Societies
  2. Food Innovation, Safety and Security for Sustainable Nutrition
  3. Earth System Science and Environmental Resilience
  4. Chemical Sciences for Green Innovation and Sustainable Development
  5. Advances in Physical Sciences and Technologies for Future Sustainability
General Guidelines
  • Authors are invited to submit their work for either Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation. Oral presentations will be conducted in parallel sessions corresponding to the symposium themes, while poster presentations will be displayed in a common venue.
  • All submissions must be made through the CMT submission system. For the initial submission, authors must upload a blind extended abstract, excluding the names and affiliations of the authors to ensure a fair review process. Details of all authors and their affiliations must be entered separately in the Authors section of the CMT submission page.
  • Submissions that include author information within the uploaded document will not be considered for review, and authors will be requested to resubmit according to the specified guidelines.
  • Only original research work that has not been previously presented or published elsewhere will be considered.
  • Authors should submit their extended abstracts under one of the conference themes. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reassign a submission to a more appropriate theme if necessary.
Extended Abstract Preparation Guidelines
Please follow the formatting requirements below when preparing the extended abstract:
  • Length:- Maximum 1000 words (excluding references)

  • Font:- Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • File Format:- Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Review Process

The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts in the relevant fields and the decision about the acceptance/ rejection/ acceptance with changes will be notified to the authors. If the reviewers decision is 'acceptance with changes', you have to do the changes mentioned in the reviewer's comments and make the camera ready copy.

If your paper is accepted, submit the camera ready copy after addressing the comments of the reviewers.
The acceptance of the work ensures that the work will be presented at the conference.

Please refer to the Sample Camera-Ready Abstract Template

Author Declaration Form : Author Declaration Form

If your paper is accepted, at least one author of the paper has to register as an author for the APSURS 2026.

After being registered as an author, you would be notified the date, time, venue and the session on which you have to present your paper.
On the day of your presentation, you must attend the appropriate session for which you have been informed and present your paper when it is your turn.

If the work involves more than one author, we expect the presence of at least one author at the symposium.

Presentation Formats
  • Oral Presentation – (15 minutes: 12 minute talk + 3 minute Q&A) – Oral presentations are ideal for presenting research projects that are close to completion, with emerging conclusions.
Oral presentation template can be downloaded here.
  • Poster – Because they are on show for the entire symposium, poster presentations allow you to showcase your work to a broader audience and provide opportunities for discussion with your peers one-on-one or in small groups. Traditionally, poster presenters have used the opportunity to present works in progress, preliminary results, new methods and techniques, or detailed proposals for future research.

All accepted abstracts will appear in the proceedings of the conference

Authors who are expecting to submit a full paper of the abstract to the special volume of the Applied Faculty Journal need to mention it during the abstract submission stage. The reviewers may decide the suitability of the abstract for calling the full paper by evaluating the content and the quality of the abstract and subsequently authors are requested to submit the full paper. All full papers received are subjected to double blind reviewing process and selected papers will be published in the special volume of the Applied Faculty Journal.
