The purpose of the meeting is to establish mutually beneficial links through sharing the expertise knowledge with Ministry of Mines and Petroleum staff and interested stakeholders in Ethiopia via skill transfer from skilled Sri Lankan gemologists and gem industry experts. The collaboration will be continued under the support and assistance of the University Business Linkage Cell and the gemologists of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
