The objective of this MoU is to commercialize the treated gems developed through optimized heat treatment conditions which is introduced as a value addition technique for the local Geuda varieties and for getting support from SUBASH GEMS to sell those treated gems. The project has been funded by the Research Innovation and Commercialization (RIC) grant of the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) program. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Udaya Rathnayake, Director \u2013 University Business Linkage Cell Prof. Indunil Dayaratne, Dean Faculty of Applied Sciences Dr. Rasangi Sabaragamuwa, Chairman \u2013 Subash Gems Mr. Subash Karunaratne, Director &#8211; SSK Holdings (PVT) LTD Mr. J. Kumara, Chairman &#8211; Tradebay International (PVT) LTD Mr. S.
