    Profile

  • Excellence, Influence and Recognition was my motto and I worked towards achieving most of the tasks at my best. I managed the diverse nature of challenges through using ‘SPORT’. I was born on the 16th of January, 1988. I have completed my Bachelor Degree in Sport & Recreation Management from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2011. I obtained my Master Degree in Olympic Studies at German Sport University, Cologne.  I received the award International Olympic Solidarity Scholarship (in 2015). 

    I have more than Eight years of experience as an academic at the University of Kelaniya and Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka Since February 2011. I was a National Volleyball player since 2000 - 2005 and Represented Sri Lanka in Asian Volleyball championship.

    I have involved in different extra curriculum activities apart from academic. I am working as a key coordinator of the National Olympic Committee as a voluntary service regarding conduct national and international sports events and organize sport education programmes. Also, I have gained several foreign exposure and experience as a Player, Academic and Researcher in different countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan, India and Thailand. Also, I have worked with different leading Universities and Institutes such as German Sport University, Autonomous University of Barcelona, International Olympic Academy of Athens, Loughborough University of UK, Verona University of Italy, Paris SUD University of France, Johannesburg University of SA and NIFIS Sports academy of Japan.
