Waruna Kannangara is a Lecturer in the Department of Surveying and Geodesy, Faculty of Geomatics at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Upon graduation, he served as a surveyor, quantity surveyor, and cost consultant for prominent local and international organisations in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and the Maldives, acquiring extensive expertise in surveying and cost management. He joined the Faculty of Geomatics in 2015 and currently coordinates the land surveying field practical programs. He also conducts undergraduate teaching in construction surveying, applications of GNSS and deformation monitoring & analysis.
