    Profile

  • Wageesh Rajapakshe is a lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. His academic and professional interests span entrepreneurship, business management, digital transformation, sustainability, and human resource management.

    His teaching focuses on areas including entrepreneurship, venture creation, business analytics, digital entrepreneurship, project management, green management, change management, and human resource management. He places particular emphasis on connecting academic knowledge with practical business applications and encouraging experiential learning among students.

    His research interests include entrepreneurship and new venture development, digital entrepreneurship, digital business transformation, sustainable business practices, human resource management, consumer behaviour, and related areas of management. He has published research in entrepreneurship, sustainable supply chain management, work-life balance, artificial intelligence adoption, and digital business transformation.

    Prior to entering academia, he gained entrepreneurial and managerial experience through the establishment and management of a business venture. This combination of academic and entrepreneurial experience shapes his interest in developing practical, innovative, and sustainability-oriented approaches to management education and research.
