She completed her BSc (Special) degree from the Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2016. Same year she joined Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a Demonstrator (Temporary) in Computer Science. Then, she worked as a research assistant for the University Grant project. In 2018, she was appointed as an Instructor in ICT (Temporary) at the Centre for Computer Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She completed her Master of Philosophy studies at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in  2022. From 2021 to 2024, she worked as an Instructor in Computer Technology (Gr.II) attached to the Centre for Computer Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. In 2024, she was promoted as Instructor in Computer Technology (Gr.I). Currently, she is working as a Lecturer (Unconfirmed) in Information Systems, attached to the Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Computing, Sabaragauwa University of Sri Lanka since 2025.
