She completed her BSc (Special) degree from the Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2016. Same year she joined Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a Demonstrator (Temporary) in Computer Science. Then, she worked as a research assistant for the University Grant project. In 2018, she was appointed as an Instructor in ICT (Temporary) at the Centre for Computer Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She completed her Master of Philosophy studies at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in  2022. Currently, she is working as an Instructor in Computer Technology at the Centre for Computer Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
