Mr. AMALKA Samarathunga

Mr. Amalka Indupama Samarathunga (SVAA Indupama) is a Mechanical Engineer and Lecturer with a BSc Eng. (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. He previously served as a Research and Development Engineer at Dragon Arrow (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka, where he was involved in engineering research, development, and practical technology applications.

He currently serves as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. His academic and research interests include fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), experimental aerodynamics, multiphase flows, sustainable materials, advanced manufacturing, and industrial monitoring systems.

His work combines computational modelling, experimental investigation, engineering design, and practical industrial applications, with a particular interest in developing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
