As a senior lecturer in anesthesiology and as a consultant Anaesthesiologist I have been a teacher to medical students in Peradeniya and Ruhuna Universities of Sri Lanka and to Diploma and MD postgraduate students in anaesthesiology of the PGIM for over 15 years.

I have also served as an academic in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and International Medical University in Malaysia. I have contributed to teaching and learning activities in other fields such as ethics, pain management, and statistics.
