Dr Eranga M. Wimalasiri graduated with BSc in Agricultural Sciences and Management (Hons) from the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. He obtained his PhD from the University of Nottingham Malaysia campus in 2019. He was a recipient of the Crops For the Future – University of Nottingham – Doctoral Training Partnership (CFF-UNMC-DTP) Scholarship to read for the doctoral degree. Dr Eranga joined Crops For the Future Research Centre Malaysia in 2019 for his postdoctoral studies on agro-environmental modelling under the LANDSUPPORT (Horizon 2020 - European Union funded) project. He is currently working on the development of decision support systems for neglected/ underutilised crops, climate change and climate adaptation studies.
