  • Eng. Buddhika S Kumara (S.P.S.N.B.S Kumara) completed his BSc Eng. (Hons) Degree from University of  Moratuwa in Department of Mechanical Engineering with a Minor degree in Entrepreneurship. He worked as a Lead Research & Development Engineer in Sri Lanka Institiute of Nanotechnology (PVT) Ltd for 3.5 years. Currently, he is working as a lecturer (Prob) in Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.

  • I am broadly interested in Design & Manufacturing, and Materials with particular emphasis on scaling up lab scale researches, composite developments, machine design and fabrication, computer integrated manufacturing and FEA analysis. In particular, my future research interests are shaped by design and development of structural materials using emerging graphene technology.
