Dr. Chandana Pathirana obtained his Ph.D. from The Central China Normal University, China. He received his M.A. from the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP), The University of Tokyo, Japan, in Public Policy. He joined the Faculty of Arts of Peradeniya University by the year 2005 as an assistant lecturer. After completing nearly two and half years of service at the University of Peradeniya, he joined the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a probationary lecturer in 2008. He is a senior lecturer in political science at the Department of Social Sciences. His teaching and research interests are related to Public Policy Management, Development Administration, and Comparative Public Administration.
