Inauguration Ceremony
The Inauguration Ceremony of the 8th international Conference of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (ICSUSL 2021) was successfully held on 1st December 2021 at the Faculty of Management Studies, SUSL. The event was graced by the presence of Professor R.M.U.S.K. Rathnayake, the Vice Chancellor of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Even though the current COVID- 19 situation unfortunately confined the conference to a virtual event, the participants were truly privileged to have the online presence of Professor Lian Pin Koh, Professor of Conservation Science, Technology and Policy, Department of Biological Sciences, the National University of Singapore who is a Nominated Member of Parliament, Singapore as a keynote speaker and Mr. Dilhan C. Fernando, Chief Executive Officer, Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company PLC as the Guest of Honour for ICSUSL 2021.
The Second China-Sri Lanka Communication and Cooperation Forum was also held in parallel to the ICSUSL 2021 and a keynote address was delivered by Professor Chen Xiangjun, the President of Huanggang Normal University, China.
