2nd MURS: “Fostering Global Citizenships towards New Normal”

In collaboration with Emerald Publishing, the Faculty of Management Studies has concluded its second Management Undergraduates’ Research Session (MURS) as a continuation of the process of enhancing students’ research capacity in the South Asian region. This is the first-ever undergraduate research conference sponsored by Emerald Publishing in Sri Lanka. 
Prof. Udaya Rathnayaka, the Vice-Chancellor of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has attended the conference as the Chief Guest. Prof. Athula Gnanapala, the dean of the Faculty of Management Studies has stated that “it is honored to be partnered with Emerald Publishing in conducting the conference”. The conference is concluded with immense success with the keynote speeches made by Mr. Nandana Wickramage (Former Group Director of CBL Group and a Business Consultant) and Ms. Sangeeta Menon (Publishing Relationship Manager, Emerald Publishing). 91 students presented their research at the conference representing various countries in the South Asian region.
