Deputy Coordinator: AHEAD World Bank Project RIC STEM-HEMS. Formulation and commercialization of readily accessible food products for the control and prevention of Diabetes mellitus” (2019-2021).


Completed Research Projects

  • Principle investigator: UGC Research Grant for the completion of PhD Degree for the research study on “Occurrence of heavy metal contamination of selected leafy vegetables grown in Colombo Area” (2013-2016).
  • Co-investigator: IRQUE Research Grant for the Bakery project on “Exploration for utilization of locally available starch sources to alter the protein composition of rice dough to produce puffy bakery products” (2008-2010).
