    Profile

  • Mr Ushantha received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Marketing Management degree from the Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL) in 2003 and gained his Master of Arts (MA) in Marketing degree from the Department of Business and Service Sector Management, London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom in 2005. In 2008, he joined the Department of Marketing Management in the Faculty of Management Studies, SUSL as a Temporary Lecturer and was promoted to Probationary Lecturer, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer Grade II and Senior Lecturer Grade I in 2009, 2014, 2016, 2020, respectively. Currently, he is conducting lectures on Consumer Behaviour, Services Marketing, Retail Marketing and Sustainable Marketing for undergraduates at the Department of Marketing Management. He also conducts lectures on Food Marketing for the Department of Food and Technology in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, SUSL and Tourism Marketing for the Diploma Course in Tourism and Hospitality offered by the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), SUSL.
