Dr U Chathurika Edirisinghe, PhD, MSc, BBA, CIMA-UK, is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She joined Sabaragamuwa University in 2008 and is currently appointed degree coordinator for Bsc in Financial Management (Hon) degree program.  Dr Edirisinghe received her PhD in Accounting from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia, in 2022. Earlier, she completed the Master of Science in Management from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University of Colombo. In addition, she completed Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK) examination in 2005 and currently awaits an Associated Membership.
