Dr. Chandana Pathirana obtained his Ph.D. from The Central China Normal University, China. He obtained his M.A. from the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP), The University of Tokyo, Japan, in Public Policy.He joined the Faculty of Arts of Peradeniya University by the year 2005 as an assistant lecturer. After completing nearly two and half year service at the University of Peradeniya, he managed to join the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a probationary lecturer by the year 2008. At present, he works as a senior lecturer in Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences. His teaching and research interests are related Public Policy Management, Development Administration, and Comparative Public Administration.
