The Entrepreneurship Day – 2018 which was named as INOVA 2K18 organized by the second year students of B.Sc. Honors in Business Management, B.Sc. Honors in Marketing Management, B.Sc. Honors in EcoBusiness Management and B.Sc. Honors in Financial Management Degree programmes of the Faculty of Management Studies was successfully held on 22nd May 2018 at the Faculty of Management Studies. This has been an annual academic event carried out under the subject of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management as a part of Continuous Assessments. From planning to implementation of the whole event is a team responsibility of the second year students who follow the subject Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. They are guided by their subject lecturer, KLBG Dharmaratne a senior lecturer attached to the Department of Business Management. They were extremely supported and motivated by the Vice Chancellor, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Heads of the departments and all the academic staff members throughout the period.
The aim of this co-curricular activity is to expose the students to the practical aspects of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. After the successful completion of this event students were enriched by learning many important areas related to the Entrepreneurship.
