Agri Libary | Applied Library

In fulfilling the main objective of developing the University through self studies and self improvement, the University Libraries in the country play a major role. The Sabaragamuwa University has three libraries in different areas: the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Uva Campus, Buttala, the Faculty Library of Agricultural Sciences and the Central Library, both located in Belihuloya Campus, half a kilometer apart. The Central Library in Belihuloya serves the needs of the three (03) faculties at the moment – the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, the Faculty of Management Studies, and the Faculty of Geomatics (Surveying Sciences). Those of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Applied Sciences serve the needs of their clients. At present SUSL is actively invovled in developing e-information provision.


	To achieve excellence in higher education, research, technology and training for the development of human resources; and to meet regional, national and global needs. The Library plays a leading role in the changing world of research information.

	To generate innovative, skilled , trained manpower and develop their capabilities in higher studies to fulfill national and global needs through undergraduate and post graduate education, research and outreach programmes.
