The Lending and the Reference sections of the faculty library contain about six thousand books. The Reference section contains periodicals including Gazettes, Agricultural serisals, general serials and daily and weekly Sinhala, English and Tamil newspapers The main library has about 30,000 books and 150 periodicals.

One of the facilities that the Agri Library provides is Photocopy Service. Students can get photocopies of the notes taken from the books from Reference, Lending and Permanent sections, journals and magazines fro reasonable charges. More over Past papers also can be photocopied from the Library.
